GUIDING LIGHT
Guiding Light is a Christmas Window Display that was created as part of a lighting course at IED and was selected to participate in the Llum Nadal Festival, a competition organized by the Barcelona Municipal Council.
The display was located in Toni Pons, a traditional Spanish shoe-store located in the vibrant center of Barcelona.
CONCEPT
The concept uses light to guide customers and passersby to discover Toni Pons shoes. Instead of a typical shoebox, a festive Christmas box with a warm glow invites curiosity, adding to the holiday spirit. A life-sized Christmas tree made of plaster represents the textures and materials of Mediterranean cultures.
